What is Prime Big Deal Days 2023?
The Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is a sale event solely for Prime members taking place in the fall season, ahead of holiday shopping. If it's something like last year's Prime Early Access Sale, it will host two days of special savings on thousands of items in all product categories.

When is Amazon Prime Big Deal Days 2023?
Amazon announced that Prime Big Deal Days will occur this year on Oct. 10 and 11. Last year, the Prime Early Access Sale was on Oct. 11 and 12, so it only makes sense this year's will happen in a similar time frame.
In the past several years, Amazon Prime Day was for two days.
Before 2020, Prime Day took place in July, but in 2020, due to the pandemic, the sale was delayed. It took place in October instead. In 2021, the event was held in the summer with a June date, the Prime Early Access Sale occurring in October of that same year. Earlier this year, in 2023, Prime Day took place in July.
How to prepare for Amazon Prime Big Deal Days
First things first: Make sure you have your Amazon Prime membership. You can sign up for your 30-day free trial h; your membership will cost $14.99 monthly or $139 annually afterward, here. In addition to fast, free two-day shipping, you'll have access to Prime Video, unlimited photo storage, ad-free music streaming, unlimited reading, and other perks. Prime Big Deal Days' best deals, including Lightning Deals, are only available to Prime members.
Once your membership is ready, you should also ensure your payment methods, including 1-Click settings plus default delivery, are up to date so you can score your desired deals promptly.
How to find the best Prime Big Deal Days deals
You want to bookmark the Amazon Deals Page, where all the items included in the big sale will appear. Check often and early on the big sale; Prime Big Deal Days deals will likely sell out quickly, and new deals should be updated throughout the discounts and sale event.

- iRobot Roomba j7+ Robot Vacuum: You could buy multiple models of the smart robot vacuum at a discount, but this high-tech one was down to the lowest price we've ever seen.
- Sony WH-1000XM5: Our top pick for the best overall headphones was down to a new low price this past Prime Day in blue, white and black color.

Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days is one of many big sales to look out for, as many other major retailers will likely also offer discounts.
Walmart vs Amazon
While we highly recommend Amazon for many items listed above, Walmart may be slashing prices on electronics, home goods, and more to near or better than Amazon pricing (Walmart Deals – Holiday Kickoff start on October 9, 2023). Both offered significant savings on various products in July to coincide with Prime Day.
Electronics giant Best Buy will likely compete with Prime Big Deal Days deals. In July, the retailer offered savings on particular laptops, including MacBooks, small kitchen appliances, gaming desktops, and more.
Wayfair will likely be the place to find the best deals for those looking for deep discounts on furniture and home appliances. We anticipate the retailer will offer sales of up to 60% off — the same savings it promoted in July — on the exact dates as the Prime Big Deal Days.
