Start at the top of the place apparel/garment and gently work your way down. For best results, pull down gently on the bottom of the cloth/apparel/garment when steaming, and make sure the fabric is taut. This way, as the material is steamed, they're straightened and will dry into a smooth, wrinkle free surface.
