How To Cook Pork Chops So That They Are Juicy and Tender?

For the best pork chops ever, the key is to sear them before you cook them. Also, the best way to cook pork chops is on the stovetop pan seared pork chops, although you can bake or stuff pork chops too.

Tip #1:  Take your pork chops out of the refrigerator thirty minutes before cooking. Never cook your chops straight from the fridge; they must be at room temperature. This trick works on cuts of meat such as steak or pork tenderloin.

Tip #2: A half-hour before you plan to cook your chops, season them, so the salt has time to improve the flavor and texture of the meat. Since pork chops are lean, seasoning them with salt before cooking them is essential for making the best and most flavorful chops. Rub a little flour and your favorite spices onto your chops.   This trick will also work on heritage pork, the best carnitas recipe  – pulled pork, or Beer Braised Barbeque Pork Recipe.

Tip #3: Rub the pork chops with your favorite spice blend, sear one side until browned, then flip them over to the other. Afterward, cover your pork chops with a lid. The second side of the chops will slowly turn golden brown, and since we covered them with the lid, the heat from the stainless steel pan will gently cook the middle. Therefore, by gently cooking the chops in this manner, they will remain juicy and become tender.

Tip #5: Last, let the cooked pork chops rest. Once the chops are thoroughly cooked, transfer them to a clean plate but do not stack them on top of each other, then cover them with foil. After about 5 minutes of resting, all the juices will remain inside the chops and distributed around the meat, staying tender and juicy.  Then you will have the best pork chops ever.
