What are Unpaper Towels?

Unpaper towels are Bambooee Paper Towels, unpaper towels, reusable paper towels, eco-friendly paper towel alternatives, unpaper towel rolls, and washable paper towels.  It does not matter what you call them, and many options exist.  Further, as our household progresses on our sustainable journey, we have tried different unpaper towels and found some work better than others.  Also, the best unpaper towels are the unpaper towels that work best for you.  In addition, green cleaning products and sustainable toxic free kitchen products help the environment.  Plus, transitioning to all natural deodorants or bath products packaged with sustainable packing is best for your health and the environment.  Paperless paper towels made of bamboo can be used like traditional paper towels, which work well on a paper towel roll dispenser.

What are unpaper towels made of?

First, a popular name for these towels is zero waste unpaper towels.  As their name implies,  the best fabric for unpaper towels is a diaper cloth fabric, organic cotton, bamboo, bird's eye fabric, terrycloth fabric, any environmentally friendly material, or cotton flannel.   While many people choose to make unpaper or unpaper kitchen towels, you can buy them on Amazon or other stores.  Although if you are like me and do not sew, you have other options to choose from that do not require sewing skills, unpaper towels Amazon. 😉

Are unpaper towels worth it?

Wow!  Yes, unpaper towels are worth it—reusable paper towel roll is made of bamboo, so if you prefer more of a traditional paper towel, give this a try.

Reusable paperless paper towels are worth it and work well.  In many ways, they function better than single-use paper towels  because they are more durable, and some can be used more than once.   Nonetheless, not all reusable paper towels are made the same.  The best reusable paper towels have a wide weave, don't push water around but absorb it.

UnPaper Towels Or UnPaper Napkins- Do They Make An Impact On The Environment

According to the Ocean Conservancy,

In the United States, 13 billion pounds of paper towels are used yearly. Imagine if we collectively worked together to reduce our use of paper towels. The amount of non-recyclable paper trash in our landfills, environment, and the ocean could be reduced by billions. There are few times such a small change can have a measurable impact.

According to Creighton.edu,

Many forests are also being destroyed in the U.S. and Canada. The manufacturing process of tissues and paper towels often involves chlorine bleach to make the product brighter. This chlorine bleach ends up in our air and water and is highly toxic to people and fish.
