Crosswave Pet Pro Wet-Dry: Bissell Pet Vacuum Cleaner Review
Bissell CrossWave Pet Pro Review: This is an article for our furry friends. I undoubtedly do love you. I won't lie, though, and I may love all four of you a little more now that I have a new Bissell vacuum to clean up after you, especially Addie, the long-haired Australian Sheppard. My dogs don't like the Roombas, so they avoid them by getting on the couch or going to a different room altogether. My dogs are allowed on the sofa and bed, and then I end up with dog hair on couches. About once a week, I use a Pet Hair Eraser Lithium Ion Cordless Pet Hand Vacuum to clean up the dog mess from the couch, plus I use sofa covers to minimize the mess. There are a lot of Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro Reviews on the web. I hope you find some value in my article, and it helps if you decide if this wet & dry vac is a fit for you.
Some of my doggies, especially Addie, get a little nervous when I bathe them, and I have to entice them to get into the shower. I installed a shower head with a wand to sit in the shower while washing them.
But don't get me wrong, and I love that you love and are always happy to see me, constant companions, always greet me with wagging tails at the door, ready for your walk or kisses and snuggles. There are numerous CrossWave Pet Pro reviews; we all have opinions and experiences. I hope you find some value in my review, whether it helps you move forward with buying one.
You are ready and up for bonding time with each other and your human siblings. Although I admit, I don't love the wet and dry messes you leave behind for me. We know you do not do it on purpose, but your pet hair, periodic stomach upsets, accidents, drooling, hairballs, and muddy paws can take a toll on my cleaning habits.
I have been transitioning to a more sustainable, organic, and natural lifestyle, including household cleaning, deodorizing, and disinfecting products.

My Messy Dog Addie - Makes Dog Messes. Love Her!

The truth is that with messy grandkids running around and the busy schedules that come with being a professional, truthfully, it can be hard to keep up with all the messes. There are a million and one different cleaning tools and gadgets for every job.
As a consumer, it can take time to decide what will get the task done and make my life easier, plus what will be a waste of my time and money. When I moved into my new house in 2021, I came across the Bissel CrossWave Pet Pro, and I went for it and had to try it.

I TRIED THE BISSELL CROSSWAVE WET AND DRY VACUUM CLEANER
When I was doing my research and reading about the Cross Wave Pet Pro initially, I was hesitant to fall in love with this product that would turn out to be another dud. After all, one cleaning machine that vacuums and washes your floor simultaneously and separates the wet and dry contents seems like a dream.
Well, I have been testing it and using it for over a year, and we want to share with you what I love about it, the few things I noticed I don't like, and why we think it is a go-to product for any home with pets.

OUR FAVORITE BISSELL VACUUM FEATURES
Bissell has an expansive product line, and many of its products are made specifically with pet-friendly households in mind.
According to the 2017-2018 National Pet Owners Survey, sixty-eight percent of U.S. households, or about 85 million families, own a pet. This means that I am not alone in feeling like I am constantly cleaning up after my dogs as much as I do.
Therefore, when I heard about the Bissel Cross Wave Pet Pro, I had to get my hands on one to see if it would perform miracles and save me time cleaning up messes.
After only a few weeks of using and getting good use of the Bissell vacuum, I am ready to share all the best things about it. This product is safe and effective on area rugs, tile, sealed wood floors, carpets, laminate, linoleum, and rubber floor mats. I can clean most of the house. What's best? I can get it all done with one vacuum machine. It is no exaggeration to say that it easily glides over the streaks, dirt, food, dust, hairballs, and pet hair.
I love that with every purchase, you can help save pets. Bissell supports the Pet Foundation and its mission to help keep homeless pets. I like to support companies that give back.
Angry Orange is one of my favorite products on furniture, beds, hard floors, dog beds, rugs, and carpets. It is a nontoxic odor and stain remover for pet stains odor eliminator; learn more here:
Effortlessly Pick Up Pet Messes
CrossWave Pet Pro multi-surface cleaner comes with a Tangle-Free Brush Roll, Pet Hair Strainer, and PET Multi-Surface Formula with Febreze Freshness.
The pet hair strainer minimizes your pet's hair from wrapping around the brush roll, plus it separates large debris from the water, which reduces sink plugging with pet hair.
Clean Pet Mess With Multi-Surface Vacuum
Safe and effective for use on tile, sealed wood floors, laminate, linoleum, vinyl, rubber floor mats, pressed wood floors, area rugs, and more.
Bissell CrossWave will pick up dog hair from multi-surfaces. The CrossWave Pet Pro is the best vacuum for vacuuming and washing floors simultaneously. You can easily clean up dog messes like muddy paw prints and spit up or pick up accidentally spilled kibble plus clumps of dog hair with just one tool. And I'm super impressed with the suction power of this cleaner!
How Well Do the Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro Clean Rugs?
I have used the Bissell on two different types of rugs. One is a plush living room area rug, and the other is a simple area rug under my dining room table. Remember, these are light-colored farmhouse-style area rugs and decor with a simple living room.
A Refreshed, Clean Rug
After using the Bissell on the rugs, they look refreshed, newer, fluffier, and cleaner. The Bissell Pet Clean + Natural Muti-Surface Formula has a light, fresh aroma, no overbearing, and no sticky residue. What makes using this formula great is I can transition so conveniently from hardwood floors to area rugs with just a push of a button.
Removed Stains on the Rug
On both of my area rugs they had some dog stains and looked dingy from the dogs going in and out when it is wet out or when we go outside – red dirt everywhere while our pool was being installed, on the fabric from a lot of wear and tear. The Bissell helped lift the stains, although I had to run it multiple times. I cleaned the brush and unit out. That was a job for a commercial carpet cleaner. Both rugs look amazing, more of their actual color.
I use the Bissell Pet Clean + Natural Multi-Surface Formula, pretreating the stains with the carpet cleaner and then running the Bissell on the rug setting several times to remove the stains. It was a little work but well worth it.
Bissell CrossWave Pet Pro
These are some of the Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro cleaning solutions I use to clean my floors, area rugs, and carpets. I have used others and found them all work well. Plus, since they are concentrated, they go a long way.
OUR FAVORITE BISSELL VACUUM FEATURES

Bissell CrossWave Pet Pro
The best part of this Bissell vacuum? The CrossWave honestly works. How does it work? Simply put, it uses a two-tank system to keep clean and dirty water from mixing. There is no need to worry about the mixing of messes! Also, the dirty water tank has a filter that catches pet hair, and you never touch the muddy water. I am a little OCD and loved this feature about cleaning up dog hair. I was impressed with how well it picked up dirt and heavier debris and was efficient on hard floors and low-pile carpets. You can use your Bissell CrossWave on the carpet to pick up messes and remove pet stains.
My favorite thing is I can clean up pet accidents after my big doggies without getting on my hands and knees to scrub. As a dog mom with a weak tummy, you really can't beat it. I also love the handles are enhanced with intelligent touch controls. This feature is on the top of the vacuum handle, allowing the switch quickly between cleaning hard floors of any type and cleaning a rug.
Plus, you can control moisture with these easy-access buttons. You decide how much formula to dispense in the cleaning process. Since we are on the formula topic, check out the tip below.

PRO TIP FOR Bissel CrossWave Pet Pro: I have read CrossWave pet pro reviews where people use water, vinegar, and other cleaning solutions that are not Bissell's Brand. While these solutions may work, they will void your warranty.
There is also the option to choose from three different rollers for your Bissell Vacuum. One was designed for wood flooring, one for pet households, and the basic model for everyday cleaning. I mainly use the hardwood and the one for pet households and found they both work well.
I run two robots in my home because I have four dogs, and one is a long-haired Australian Shepherd. I'm always fighting dog messes from spit up, crumbs spilled kibble, and a lot of dog hair to clean up. My Roomba's both runs automatically every day. One is a self-emptying iRobot Roomba, and I love its convenience. They both do help with minimizing how much dog hair is floating around. The next time I empty the Roomba bag, I will post a picture of how much hair it picks up.
While essential oils are great for removing odors from the air or on fabrics, caution should be taken around dogs, especially cats; learn more here.

Final Thoughts on CROSSWAVE PET PRO MULTI SURFACE CLEANER
DUAL-USE PERFECTION – Wet & Dry Pet Vacuum – If you want to simplify your life and make cleaning up after messy pets, grandkids, or messy boyfriends easier, this Bissell vacuum may be the answer for you and your home. I love all the fantastic features of this dual-use product and its abilities.
I use this handy little Bissel CrossWave Pet Pro to remove dirt or pet stains from area rugs. The only downfall I found is that it takes about as long as it would sweep and mop, but you only use household items.
PRO TIP: The best time to buy a vacuum cleaner is during the holidays, Amazon Prime Days, or clearance sales; learn more.

Is anything Bad About the Bissell CrossWave Pet Pro?
CrossWave Pet Pro Review – I REALLY like the vacuum/mop combo unit. However, there are 4 things that I don’t necessarily love.
Cleaning the Unit – Although it only takes a couple of minutes, it is a bit of a pain. What you have to do after each use is empty the clean water tank, rinse the dirty water tank, and take the roller brush. After rinsing each component, air dry it in its drying bin.
Holding the Lever to Clean – If you want to dispense water and cleaning solution, you must hold down the dispensing lever the entire time. If you have a lot of floors to clean, it will tire your hand after a while.
The Bissell Cleaning Solution – I did like how the solution smelled. Besides, I find it annoying to HAVE to buy a specific cleaning solution. Although the cleaning solution goes a long way, and some are climate pledge friendly, I love that!
Stuck On Dirt – As I said, I think the Bissel CrossWave Pet Pro Wet and Dry Vac picks up and cleans better than my steam mop. The only exception I had a little issue with was getting stuck on dirt or spills.
In this Bissell CrossWave review, I describe a few inconvenient design issues, but overall, I like the product. It cleans better than I expected and reduces the vacuum/mop time.
I recommend this product to anyone who tends to clean up floors constantly or has kids or pets, and it offers quite a bit of convenience.
Some Bissell Crosswave Review Questions and Answers:
Does the Bissell Crosswave Pro really clean?
Although the CrossWave is not suitable for a carpet cleaner replacement, it is excellent; it can suck up fresh spills from rugs before they turn into stains – it is something not all vac-mop models can do well.
