DIY Green Tea Face Toner

 Homemade Face Care - Apple Cider Vinegar Green Tea Toner Recipe

I suggest you do a patch test before applying the toner over all your face.  Furthermore, you can test in a small area on your neck.  Also, if your skin burns, or any irritation wash the area with warm water immediately.


2 Tablespoons organic apple cider vinegar
1/4 Cup brewed green tea
25 Drops of Tea Tree essential oils
15 Drops of Lavender essential oils


  • Pour 6 ounces of near-boiling water over about 2 tablespoons (three tea bags) of green tea leaves and steep for 20 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags
  • Pour into an 8-ounce  bottle, blend in other ingredients, shake well, cap tightly, and store in the refrigerator.  Use within a week.

How To Use

Always test on a small area of the neck first to make sure you do not have any reaction to the ingredients.  Wash your face with cool water, then pat dry.  Gently apply the toner with a cotton pad.  Once your face is dry, then apply your moisturizer.   Use daily for 14 days for the best results.  Then you can drop down to using it 3 to 4 times a week or as needed.  Many DIY homemade face care, organic, and vegan skin care products are for purchase.   Finally, green beauty products are better for your health and the environment.
