If you are like me and are transitioning to nontoxic household and body products plus trying to be more sustainable, you can try making your body butter and creams.  This DIY Shea Body Butter for stretch marks and scars butter is non-toxic and free of synthetics.  Also, this homemade recipe consists of Cocoa Butter and Unrefined Shea Butter, which moisturizes, nourishes, and restores dry, itchy, cracked skin.  Try our Whipped Kokum Butter With Copaiba essential oil or Whipped Mango Mousse.  In addition, Copaiba has many benefits for the skin.  Plus, it helps correct skin tone and reduce blemishes and dark spots from pimples, fine lines, and wrinkles.  In addition, Rosehip Seed Oil is one of my favorite oils when I make a face and repair skin products.

Plus, Rosehip Seed Oil's benefits are its hydrates, moisturizes, reduces hyperpigmentation (skin spots), and helps boost collagen formation.  These are only some of the benefits of this beautiful oil.  Finally, it has loads of Vitamin A and antioxidants, which promote skin regeneration and help moisturize dry and cracked skin.

The cocoa-scented aroma of cacao blends well with Vanilla, floral, and warm essential oils.  This recipe will use Lavender, Sandalwood, and Copaiba essential oils.  I almost forgot, always use therapeutic-grade essential oils like Doterra; read the label.  If you don't have all these oils, you can use Lavender.  If you like Lavender, give us our Lavender Shea Whipped Body butter recipe.

How To Use Body Butter

Since, this recipe is 100% butters and oils, a little goes a long way.  Melting a pea-size amount of butter between your palms, then apply to the problematic area.  Apply after a shower or bath; you can apply it twice a day if needed.  If you find the butter is to greasy for you, add a little arrowroot powder (1/4 tsp. or less)

Hopefully, you will love this body butter as much as we do.  Last, if you like how your skin looks and feels make enough of this DIY Shea body butter stretch mark and scar butter and share it with your friends and family.
