For those who do not need another vacuum but have pets or kids and want cleaner floors with minimal effort, the Bissell ReadyClean A3 will help mop floors more easily and frequently. I use it on hardwood floors and tile, and it is incredibly meticulous as it goes back and forth in a horizontal line, covering every area of the floors. It leaves them looking clean and shiny. If the robot mop encounters a spot with dirt or grime, it will go over it back and forth several times. It does well picking up dust and debris, but larger items will get moved around since it doesn't have a vacuum feature. It was a pleasant surprise that it is quiet and intuitive, detecting obstacles such as rugs and cords, and it will change its route after bumping into any items. The D-shape design allows the mop to reach hard-to-reach spaces and easily navigate under furniture without getting stuck. The only issue I have encountered is the mop needs help getting over ledges between rooms that are higher than about an inch. However, it keeps trying and sometimes will finally get over it.
The robot mop comes with interchangeable disposable and reusable pads and can be used for both wet and dry mopping. We programmed the mop and used the reusable and disposable pads, which several got replaced during the initial mapping of the house.
