The Best Sauteed Green Beans Recipe

I have always thought cooking sauteed green beans was hard.  Plus, I had never found a good recipe on how to sauteed fresh green beans.  For some reason, I always seem to overcook my green beans.  Furthermore, they get soggy and not so good.  Until recently, I wouldn't buy fresh green beans until now.  Cooking green beans in a skillet is easy and tastes so good.

Furthermore, it wasn't until I received my delivery from Imperfect Foods that they were fresh green beans, which I used to make fresh sauteed string beans.  It is a subscription service, but you can skip shipments anytime.  Imperfect Foods offers more than fresh organic and nonorganic produce and other groceries.  Since we are on a zero-waste journey and eating healthier, I gave cooking them a chance.  The service is super convenient.  I'm so glad I gave this recipe a chance.

We now eat sauteed green beans all the time.  Although, we only make fresh sauteed string beans because they are outstanding.  My husband said the sauteed green beans with garlic were restaurant quality.  We had these sauteed green beans and cauliflower mash with some pork chops.  We used this sautee string beans recipe.

Some great side dishes to serve with sauteed green beans include roasted chicken, grilled salmon, baked sweet potatoes, or quinoa salad. You can also pair them with a simple arugula salad or roasted vegetables for a balanced and satisfying meal. Serve the sauteed green beans as a side dish or mix them into a stir-fry for a healthy and delicious meal.

Pro Tip:  Use Non-Toxic Stainless Steel Pans – heat your oil before adding your green beans.  Check out our How-To Cook With Stainless Steel Pans Article if you've never cooked with stainless steel pans.
